Translavic is an ISO17100 certified language service provider for all European languages with offices in the Netherlands (Rijssen) and in Poland (Wroclaw). Translavic annually translates millions of words into all European languages including marketing campaigns, technical manuals, reports and campaigns for European institutions, textbooks for foreign language education, deeds, court orders, medical files, texts for fashion labels, corporate brochures, and many more.

With new and exciting projects arising at the moment we are expanding our team of in-house translators and are currently looking for a translator from English into German to join our office in Wroclaw. The candidates must be native speakers of the target language.

Your profile:
• Mother tongue: German
• Fluent in English
• Higher education in languages and/or translation
• Experience in translation and editing desirable
• Knowledge of translation memory and terminology management software desirable
• Ability to plan and effectively organize work
• Good communication skills


Responsibilities:
• Translation of texts from English into German
• Revision, editing and proofreading of translations completed by others
• Quality checks on translated texts
• Creation of glossaries, terminology databases and translation guidelines
